Description detaillee
This is a 50 m³ salt storage silo (approximately 60 tonnes of salt at a density of 1.2 t/m³) with a fiberglass-reinforced polymer shell produced using a GFK winding process. The shell height with a hopper is 13 m, and the height with the supporting frame is about 18 m. Clear dimensions are 3.0 m in width and 4.0 m in height for through-ways. The silo is mounted on a stable galvanized steel subframe with steel beams anchored to the foundation using threaded rods. It includes a bottom-operated shut-off gate and a side discharge option in the lower area, as well as an inspection hatch in the shell. Corrosion is present on the footplates and there is weather-related aging. The purchaser is responsible for dismantling and removal of the silo and foundation at their expense.
