Product overview: Hale Typhoon 30W22 water-turbine driven air blower. Includes a water nebulization unit. Airflow per AMCA 240: about 50,976 m3/h. Water-turbine power: 16.1 kW with a water-injection valve; standard 30 L/min water flow to produce a fine mist. Construction features a blower housing of high-strength plastic with an integrated cast steel support ring; 12 high-pressure blades made of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide, radially balanced. Safety grille consists of concentric rings of coated steel wire for safety and maximum airflow. Turbine is made of hard-anodized aluminum with a replaceable bronze water ring; shaft is stainless steel; maintenance-free mechanical seal; two maintenance-free ball bearings; adjustable tilt up to 45 degrees. Frame is a rugged light-metal construction with two transport wheels, four feet, and a transport handle behind the motor for easier handling. Operational history: the unit was used by the fire department until 2020 and has been stored since; fully functional but shows age-related wear (scratches on housing, minor paint chipping).
