TRAUB CNC turning machine, model TND 200, acquired circa 1992. Features include spindle head-through bore Ø42 mm, maximum turning diameter over carriage 160 mm, and over bed 340 mm. Chuck diameter 140/152 mm. Power delivery at 100% duty 5.5 kW and at 50% duty 7.5 kW, with a constant power range of 1:8. Spindle speed ranges from 10 to 5000 min-1. Tooling comprises 12 stations with DIN 69880 tool shanks (nominal Ø x length 30 x 50 mm). The machine has X-axis (sliding saddle) rapid traverse of 12,000/10,000 mm/min with a cutting feed force of 2,400 N, and Z-axis rapid traverse of 15,000/10,000 mm/min with a feed force of 2,900 N. Each tool carrier includes a single-stage centrifugal pump. The coolant container holds 135 L and the central lubrication system 5 L. Electrical connection is via a CEE plug with a connected load of 20 kW. Overall dimensions are 2,215 × 1,515 × 1,850 mm and the machine weighs approximately 2,900 kg. Operating hours: about 8,273 h. The unit was used until the 2015/2016 school year and was fully functional until then; regular maintenance has not occurred since and should be performed before recommissioning. Before transport, the oil should be drained. No CE marking on the machine; the computer and monitor have CE marking. Visible signs of use include dust and scratches. No purchase documents or warranty certificates are available.
