Deckel FP 3 A CNC milling machine, built in 1982, weighs approximately 1,700 kg and measures about 170 cm (W) x 200 cm (H) x 170 cm (D). The machine's work envelope includes X-axis travel of 490–500 mm, Y-axis travel of 290–300 mm, and Z-axis travel without a protective cover of 390–400 mm; with a protective cover, Z-axis travel is 345–355 mm. The vertical milling head is movable sideways by 0–200 mm. Table size is 800 x 465 mm. The main drive is a switchable three-phase motor with 2.0/4.0 kW and forward/reverse operation. There are 21 programmable work spindle speeds, specified as 25–2,500 rpm. Tool holder is SK 40 DIN 2080. Quill travel (hand-operated) is 100 mm. A user manual is included. The unit was taken from teaching operation and function-tested in June 2026. It shows age-related wear such as small scratches, paint chipping, and a light amount of rust. The item is located in a workshop environment.
