This Weiler Praktikant 160 lathe is equipped with a lead-screw and feed-spindle arrangement. It is reported to be functional, with the coolant system not included. The swing over bed is 320 mm and over the cross slide 198 mm, with a center distance of 650 mm. Feed options include longitudinal feed with 24 settings from 0.02 to 0.63 mm/rev; cross feed is 0.32 x longitudinal feed. Thread pitches range from 0.25 to 8 mm, with available settings at 0.45, 0.75, 4.5 and 5.5 mm. The machine is fitted with digital readouts on the X- and Z-axes and includes a tool cabinet. A Multifix B quick-change head is present but is provided without a turning-tool holder.
